RUSTIC MEETS MODERN.
In the oldest houses in Saxony.
When visiting the August Horch Museum, the Robert Schumann House, the St. Marien Cathedral or the priests' houses in Zwickau, the brewery in the heart of the city should not be missed.
We cordially invite you to a rustic ambience, delicious home-brewed beers, home-made schnapps and regional, fresh and modern cuisine.
Brauhaus Zwickau
The brewery was first opened in July 2001 by Bernd Winkler and André Stockmann as the first Zwickau brewery and distillery. Since January 1st, 2019, it has been in the management of managing director and owner Mr. Sebastian Scherk and his wife Sarah Alexandra Scherk.
“It's important to us that the brewery isn't just a restaurant where you eat something quickly and then leave. We want our guests to enjoy coming and staying with us. Our brewery stands for conviviality and our guests should also be able to feel this here. We want to support the region in which we work and live and therefore use local and fresh products. We do not stand for mass but for awareness when eating. This is reflected not only in the food, but also in our home-brewed beers, as well as in the schnapps distilled in-house.”
